You Must Be (2025)

  • Screenplay
  • 1-hour TV Drama
You Must Be follows a young worker stretched across gig shifts, online personas, and the quiet collapse that happens when life becomes a performance.

Set against a rain soaked city that measures and monetises every move, the script traces how identity is bent, masked, and hollowed out under the pressure to be endlessly productive. At its core is a man who has built multiple selves to survive. But when illness forces him into a privatised system that treats vulnerability as another transaction, the façade fractures.

Through intimate scenes of labour, loneliness, and the unravelling of self-worth, You Must Be examines what remains when every identity has been commodified to ask whether a more honest, authentic self can survive in a world that demands constant performance.
